Try to figure out why people think a comment is written about them. I mentioned no names, but said some people had the IQ of a dead tree. Someone here decided it must be them that I'm talking about. Now try to figure out why they would think that. lol
guest818 - June 2, 2015, 4:39 am
EMMa, for someone incapable of getting their b***ons pushed, you sure get your b***ons pushed a lot.
rebeccaolsen - June 1, 2015, 6:30 pm
Of course. Because MMessEnnBeeEss WAS talking about me :) It just pushes his bu'ttons when people see right through him, and he gets so embarrassed about it that he tries to cover it up(and other things)by playing 'stupid' about it. Well, I buy 'that' :)
OTC - June 1, 2015, 5:55 pm
She must have "reasonably inferred" you were talking about her, despite "they" in the sentence
rebeccaolsen - May 31, 2015, 8:42 pm
But carry on, you are so cute when you fail troll. :)
rebeccaolsen - May 31, 2015, 8:41 pm
That is still p.ushing your b***ons hun? Aren't you supposed to be "ignoring" me, hun? (#76501) Using OTC to passive-aggressively respond to the things I say, this time "the great comment debate"(#76634,#76635)really doesn't fit the definition of ignoring
MMessEnnBeeCee - May 31, 2015, 6:15 pm
Have you ever noticed how they all claim to have degrees, yet can't even grasp how comments work. I think their degrees are in underwater basket weaving.
OTC - May 31, 2015, 5:16 pm

fauxnews - July 17, 2014, 11:15 pm
That makes two of us.haha...Maybe we should do the Thelma and Louise thing. Right? LOL..Oh, well..l might not be long for this world anyways. In any case, it was nice debating with you, mate. :-) Cheers.
Zeitguy - July 17, 2014, 11:08 pm
Thanks faux, but I'm not sure how much more of this I can take.
Zeitguy - July 17, 2014, 11:04 pm
And don't say that scientists are unsure about global warming. Look it up.
fauxnews - July 17, 2014, 11:03 pm
Truer words have never been spoken. Good point, Zeit. :-) Glad to have you aboard.
Zeitguy - July 17, 2014, 10:59 pm
I understand that it can be threatening to an ego if a heartfelt belief is revealed to be false, but the truth shall set you free.
Zeitguy - July 17, 2014, 10:54 pm
Emma I think you debate for the sake of debate. No amount of scientific evidence will sway you from your preconceived, comfortable, perception of reality. Maybe next time you could provide evidence why the scientific community is wrong in their consensus.
EmmaRoydes - July 17, 2014, 10:27 pm
or asking too much of you
EmmaRoydes - July 17, 2014, 10:25 pm
I don't understand you zeitguy. You make statements and when asked to back them up start with the blind ideology rants followed by "you're exhausting." All you had to do was back up your statement. I don't see where that's me deserving your statements.
fauxnews - July 17, 2014, 9:25 pm
Worry not... I think she finally passed out again from all the hyper-ventilating (hence, the lull...and the break for us) :-/ If her mum is out there listening, do be sure to turn her on her side.Don't want to lose her! Poor thing.Been a rough day for her
Zeitguy - July 17, 2014, 9:21 pm
Emma, your exhausting.
fauxnews - July 17, 2014, 9:11 pm
All that political m'asturbation will do that to you. X-D *laugh* *snort* snort* "I.KILL.ME!" ~ ALF, 1987
EmmaRoydes - July 17, 2014, 8:52 pm
There you go again. I don't agree with you, therefore it's blind ideology. Sounds like you might, just might, be describing yourself. Not that difficult to provide proof of your statement unless there is no proof.
Zeitguy - July 17, 2014, 8:12 pm
Ok fine. I'm sure you've googled the same information sources that I have and know that many different disciplines are employed to compile data of past climate conditions. The fact that you dismiss these findings is testament to your blind ideology.
EmmaRoydes - July 17, 2014, 5:24 pm
by the way, I noticed you never came up with how scientists can accurately say what the temperature was 100,000 years ago. I'm sure you have the data available and just forgot to answer it
EmmaRoydes - July 17, 2014, 5:23 pm
and your go to phrase would be "if you don't agree with my statements, you just "refuse to accept the obvious" and "I can't prove anything, but I can throw enough crap out there and maybe, just maybe, something will stick"
EmmaRoydes - July 17, 2014, 5:21 pm
I knew you wouldn't be able to understand the question nor have an answer available. That's ok and, as the world's most interesting man says "Stay Stupid, my friend, stay stupid"
fauxnews - July 17, 2014, 4:03 pm
LMAO#69216(Emma)"explain how science is able to reveal the temperature from 100,000yrs ago.Black magic is not the correct answer!" From the album,"STUPID S'HIT SAID BY 'MURICANS.Vol4" In stores now(where you can find Twinkies and other fine food products)
fauxnews - July 17, 2014, 1:43 pm
Right on cue, as predicted. Knew you couldn't resist mentioning me. I know the events of the morning have embarrassed you deeply. You don't have to remind us, Xtianboy. Tissue, mate? :-)
Zeitguy - July 17, 2014, 12:50 pm
Yeah sorry about that, it's just that I know that's one of your " go to" phrases and it would have more impact if spelled correctly.
EmmaRoydes - July 17, 2014, 11:51 am
Now kindly explain how the "scientific evidence" was able to reveal the exact temperature from 100,000 years ago. Black magic is not the correct answer. And, no fauxnews, that isn't a racist phrase.
EmmaRoydes - July 17, 2014, 11:50 am
translation (zeitguy): if you don't agree with me, you have a closed mind. herpa derpa!

fauxnews - July 17, 2014, 10:42 am
...Like he said, you don't want to "use my tactics."He's scared you might start pushing his b'uttons as badly as I do.Then you got stuck with him as a creepy insecure stalker who won't stop talking about you, long after most stable people would've moved on
fauxnews - July 17, 2014, 10:36 am
Yes, Zeitguy...listen to the little chicken man's advice about how to conduct yourself on on this site. Look how well it has worked for him...lol
Zeitguy - July 17, 2014, 10:20 am
And BTW it's non sequitur
Zeitguy - July 17, 2014, 10:01 am
If you refute the scientific evidence because you don't understand the process, then any debate concerning the issue is lost to a closed mind.
EmmaRoydes - July 17, 2014, 9:43 am
The big question is should man clean up his act? and the obvious answer is yes, but doing the chicken little dance does nothing to resolve the local issues like smog, polluted rivers, etc.
EmmaRoydes - July 17, 2014, 9:41 am
It's more you discarding patterns of glacial cycles, previous warming and cooling, the effect of volcanoes, solar activity, etc. and just blaming any fluctuations in the climate on man.
EmmaRoydes - July 17, 2014, 9:37 am
Scientific discovery? How did they get exact measurements of temperatures from 100,000 years ago?
EmmaRoydes - July 17, 2014, 9:36 am
Non sequitar. tsk tsk. Do try to stick to the discussion and not divert to some fauxnewsian tactics please.
Zeitguy - July 16, 2014, 5:54 pm
Your lack of trust in scientific discovery when it doesn't support your belief is quite revealing.
Zeitguy - July 16, 2014, 5:51 pm
You both probably think that god put dinosaur bones on the earth to test your faith.
Zeitguy - July 16, 2014, 5:49 pm
My mistake, it was OTC's confusing thread of reasoning.
OTC - July 16, 2014, 5:38 pm
That's funny, she points out its sarcasm and you're confused about reasoning?
EmmaRoydes - July 16, 2014, 5:01 pm
what thread of reasoning are you referring to? Maybe I can explain my position a little better if I know what you are referring to.
Zeitguy - July 16, 2014, 4:47 pm
Not upset, just confused with your thread of reasoning.
EmmaRoydes - July 16, 2014, 3:44 pm
Remember that the claim is that is a full degree of change in temperature, not thousands of degrees, so that would take a pretty accurate temperature measurement from 100,000 years ago.
EmmaRoydes - July 16, 2014, 3:43 pm
What scientific method can accurately predict the temperature 100,000 years ago?
EmmaRoydes - July 16, 2014, 3:43 pm
lack conviction. Oh, please. You need to understand sarcasm and not be so easily upset.
fauxnews - July 16, 2014, 3:30 pm
I know, right? Hopefully you weren't expecting some prime rib from Mickey D's here.
Zeitguy - July 16, 2014, 3:12 pm
And also suggesting I lack conviction by breathing and using the computer?....really?
Zeitguy - July 16, 2014, 3:09 pm
So I'm guessing that you question the validity of scientific methods to accurately determine climate conditions thousands of years ago?
EmmaRoydes - July 16, 2014, 12:36 pm
and I'll bet they were breathing and contributing CO2 to the atmosphere.
OTC - July 16, 2014, 12:28 pm
Because obviously the earth never heated up before the industrial revolution and that people who believe this actually contribute to it as evident by using a computer to make the poster, obviously lacking conviction
EmmaRoydes - July 16, 2014, 11:40 am
Right, obvious. Especially when you consider that NASA has temperature readings that go back 100,000 years to support this poster.
Zeitguy - July 16, 2014, 9:19 am
The variables you speak of are the denials by those who refuse to accept the obvious.
JBL - July 15, 2014, 1:36 pm
There is NO undeniable truth to CO2 as the instigater of temperature change, there are many variables.
Zeitguy - July 15, 2014, 1:53 am
If political debate is unable to begin at the point of scientific, undeniable truth, then all that occurs afterward is unscientific, deniable rhetoric.
